Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Must have NHS/ Private experience. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and enhancing the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
- Manage patient records, including updating personal information and treatment history.
- Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area to create a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Skills
- Strong office administration skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in using office software and dental management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
