We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our friendly practice as a Receptionist/Call Taker.

If you have experience of working under pressure, and enjoy working in a busy, caring environment. Have a flexible and adaptable approach with a customer service focus you may be the person we are looking for to join our valued team.

Duties:

· Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner

· Answer and direct phone calls

· Fill in triage forms and arrange appointments

· Perform general clerical duties, such as filing and photocopying, completing clerical and administrative work, including registrations

· Provide excellent customer support to patients and visitors

Skills:

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

· Attention to detail for accurate data entry

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Familiarity with Microsoft Packages for email, calendar, and document management

Advantage:

Experience in the NHS and/or using SystmOne
Previously working in a GP surgery

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)

· Work Location: In person

This is a permanent part time position which includes cover for annual leave and sickness on a flexible basis. Shifts will be between Monday-Friday, specific shifts will be discussed at interview.

Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday/evening cover)

You might occasionally be required to work at one of our other sites within Chippenham
