Working in the commercial property finance team, this role will be at the heart of Whitbread’s future growth strategy.
The role of Property Finance Manager is a great opportunity for a senior finance analyst/newly qualified accountant looking to take that next step. You will play a pivotal role in continuing to drive the UK growth and optimisation strategy for Whitbread.
With a strong aptitude for complex analysis and the ability to apply a commercial lens to opportunities alongside great business partnering skills, you will be responsible for managing the end to end process of property investment appraisals.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

What You’ll Do
- Prepare/write compelling board papers supporting strategically important investments, distilling complex financials into easy to understand well presented papers.
- Maintain and improve the Investment cycle so that all stakeholders have clear understanding of what is required of them.
- Develop strong relationships with the Acquisitions and Business Development Teams to ensure assumptions are robust & accurate.
- Develop financial appraisal models for new concepts ensuring assumptions are based off sound logic, and give insight into the key financial levers
What We Need
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Strong financial modelling expertise is critical
- Investment Methodology, financial appraisal metrics preferable but not essential (e.g., NPV,ROCE).
- Analytical mindset with ability to understand, challenge and inform on investment decisions.
