Prepare meals .
Clear away after each meal, prep food for following meal.
Rotate all food stock in kitchen.
Dispose of dated food in accordance with the food and hygiene act.
Follow daily cleaning rota.
Empty all waste bins daily.
Take all rubbish to outside bin before leaving the unit.
Liaise with Manager and supervisor and report what cleaning materials need to be ordered. Ensure equipment is in good repair; report any faulty or damaged machine/equipment to the manager of the unit.

Report any health and safety hazards to the unit manager.
Be aware of colour coding for catering and cleaning as per trust policy.
Keep accurate records of all tasks completed as per cleaning/catering schedule.
Re order food when stock levels are low following budget targets set by your Line Manager.
Keep records of wastage
Have a clear understanding of COSHH and regulations
Prepare food for crèche and take to them.
Organise and set up for hospitalities .
Any other duties asked to perform.
Attend any relevant training courses, as required.
To fully participate in the Trust’s performance review and personal development planning process on an annual basis.
Undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and as agreed with line manager as part of the personal development planning process.
To achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales.
To contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams in which he/she works.
To undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager which are commensurate with the role, including project work, internal job rotation and absence cover.
To contribute to a healthy and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and Trust policies.
