An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health care assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.
The successful candidate will assist in providing high quality care to patients/clients in all clinical areas - Outpatients, diagnostic and treatment clinics, Eye Casualty, Pre assessment, held across all three sites. RCHT, Falmouth out-patients department and west Cornwall hospital in Penzance.

To contribute to the optimum delivery of care for the ophthalmic patient by assisting all healthcare and clinical staff to meet the needs for this group of patients.
To ensure that privacy and dignity is respected at all times.
T o have a good understanding of the complex needs of this group of patients.
To assist the team in providing an excellent service at all times by ensuring a good knowledge of the patient and service requirements.
To perform Ophthalmic tests for our patients, to include, visual fields, tonopen tonometry, ECG, bloods, and autorefraction.
To participate in the weekend On-call rota where relevant.
