The post holder will work within Bristol royal Infirmary Hospital and be responsible for covering Reception desks within the Radiology Department. This will include booking in patient and checking there demographics in a welcoming and professional way.

The role of a receptionist is to serve as a contact for patients access our service. The post holder will therefore be responsible for setting high standards of patient care by enacting the trust values.

The post holder will work under the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Trust, with the post being located at Bristol Royal infirmary. The post holder be responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient service as the patient’s first point of contact within the hospital. This will include greeting and signposting patients and relatives, processing patients appointments using the Patient Administration System (Cris) and liaising with clinicians and colleagues to facilitate a smooth and timely flow of patients through the departments.

Manage patient communications via telephone and Trust systems.

Work within the wider reception team to complete all administrative duties.
