Location: Devon Sexual Health Services, EX4 6NN
Hours: 37.5 hours per week- (would also consider PT (3 days a week)
Duration: 3 Months
Work Pattern: Day time shifts: 7.45 - 3.45 or 9-5
Weekend cover includes Sat 8-4. Sun 10-4 (Once or twice a month)

What you’ll be responsible for:
Job Purpose
- This is a busy clinical environment, and the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer care skills, the ability to multitask, and be able to provide a warm, friendly and efficient reception service to all visitors to the service.
- Work alongside our dedicated reception team to help cover front of house reception within the NHS Walk-in Centre in central Exeter supporting the clinical services based within the building – Devon Sexual Health & the NHS Walk-in Centre service.
- We work with a diverse range of patients and the post holder must be non-judgemental and empathetic, demonstrating a positive self-motivated attitude, with the ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
- The successful candidate will work within a team of admin and reception staff and will undertake a range of reception and administration duties to support the Reception Team Leader and Clinical team.
- The ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with members of the public is essential for this busy role. Computer skills are desirable, and training will be provided on electronic booking systems used within the service.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· General IT Skills i.e email/ Microsoft applications
· Experience in a similar role
· Excellent communication skills
· Minute taking
· Excellent Organisational Skills
· Ability to manage workload
