Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a solid understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant environment. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen setting is advantageous.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen.
