Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that each customer receives exceptional service and a delightful experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation, including pastries and snacks, while following proper food handling procedures.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer any queries regarding menu items.

Requirements

Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
