JOB PURPOSE:

Support and manage Practice waiting lists.

Chronic Disease Register/ Recall.

Residential home visits for chronic disease.

Cytology.

Coding hospital letters.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Support and manage the waiting list for patients who have been referred for Minor Surgery, ABPM monitors, Coil and implant procedure

NHS health check monthly birthday recall, 1st and 2nd

Cytology- complete PCSE registers. Invite letters- follow protocol

Support and implement chronic disease recall system. Monthly birthday recall, 1st, 2nd & 3rd. Arrange residential home visits.

Work safely and securely at all times in accordance with legislative requirements and practice policy and procedures

Job summary

We are a busy GP surgery based in Morley looking to recruit part time admin support worker to join our friendly team. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, professional with excellent customer service skills. 19 hours per week Monday - Friday (afternoon hours).

Main duties of the job

We are looking for individuals who are hard working, professional with excellent customer service skills who are used to working in a busy environment. Someone who is willing to work as part of a team but can also use their own initiative where necessary.

The role covers a range of admin duties including booking appointments and administrative support. This is a supporting role working alongside the clinical admin team.

We are offering part time hours working over 5 days Monday - Friday. This is a one year fixed term contract reviewed annually.

We are a dynamic, forward thinking practice wishing to deliver locally innovative and integrated services to our practice population of approx. 16500 patients.

The atmosphere is friendly, hardworking and supportive across the whole practice. We work as one big team which consists of reception, admin, nursing, prescription, secretarial and GP's.

We are a SystmOne practice based in Morley and our last CQC rating was good.

Pay: From £12.24 per hour
