Embley operates regular School Bus routes mornings and afternoons during term time. Approximately 20 hours per week at £13.50 per hour with the possibility of additional hours.

We are looking for drivers to operate regular School Bus routes mornings and afternoons, both driving and taking responsibility for children in their care. Ideally the successful candidate holds a D1 category, preferably unendorsed, driving licence. D1 was automatically granted on most driving licences issued before 1997. For the right candidate the school may fund the necessary training to allow the successful candidate to undertake the D1 test. MIDAS training will be given to successful applicants where required.

Minibus drivers are an important part of the school support team and they must relate well with both pupils and adults. You will be flexible; work well under pressure and be approachable and friendly with all pupils, parents and staff.
