30 hours per week, flexible, in agreement with the Headteacher, term time plus 10 days Permanent. A possibility of additional hours for specific tasks.

Following the retirement of our current post holder, Wadworth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a School Business Manager to join the team and make a difference for our children.

The Governors of Wadworth Primary School wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic School Business Manager to join our staff team as soon as possible.

Wadworth Primary is a small, LA maintained community school, providing education for children aged between 4 and 11 years old.

The successful candidate will be someone who:

Has proven experience of budget management, monitoring and account reconciliation, together with experience of financial management systems and audit requirements.
Has experience of managing health and safety together with knowledge of risk, issues and legislation, in relation to education.
Has experience of working in a busy school or office environment Has experience of leading and managing staff
Is an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated individual
Is committed to the highest standards of learning for all
Is innovative and able to demonstrate exciting and creative thinking
Demonstrates high standards of themselves and others
Has the passion to make a difference in our school
Is a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Is able to form relationships quickly with our children, parents and staff
