Your Role

Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
Work across various shift patterns including early, late, weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

Heather Holmes is a vibrant, lively home that offers support and care tailored to each person who lives there, involving residents in every aspect of their own home and taking not only their needs into account, but also their wants and personal goals are considered when making any decisions.

You may be new to care, or already have experience in the social care sector or NHS (Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant). As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and you are able to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people – then we’re here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
