Function: Night Porter / General Assistant

Location: Campanile Hotel Cardiff

Campanile Hotel Cardiff are looking for 2 x Night Porter, suitable for 30 hours or 40 hours a week

Hours will be between 22:00 and 08:00 required Weekends, Bank Holidays included; occasionally afternoon shifts covering from 14:00 - 22:00

Campanile Hotel Cardiff are seeking 2 Night Porters to join the team. This position includes reception duties, some light kitchen duties, prepping for breakfast and responding to fire alarm activations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, strive for guest satisfaction and coordinate with other members of the team!

Our position of Night Porter is very diverse and you will be involved in duties such as:

Reception duties- handling enquiries and responding to requests from guests, issuing keys for expected arrivals.
Participate in the organisation of department for service
Light kitchen service
Restaurant duties
Public Areas duties

Hours will be between 22:00 and 08:00 required Weekends, Bank Holidays included, occasionally afternoon shifts covering from 14:00 - 22:00

Knowledge and Skills required:

Training

Prior hospitality training
Fire Marshal will be an advantage however not essential as training can be provided

Experience

Prior experience in a branded environment in the hospitality industry
Prior experience in other types of accommodation

Expertise
